Yes! However, leaving your property unattended in a vehicle makes it susceptible to theft and for that reason, personal belongings are only covered up to a $1,000 limit while in or upon a motor vehicle. When possible, we recommend never leaving your personal property unattended in a vehicle.
It is also important to note that items that are in transport are only covered to the $1,000 limit as well. We do not cover accidental damage to these items if they are upon or inside of a motor vehicle. For example, if your stuff falls off of a roof rack resulting in damage, that would be considered accidental and is not a coverage under the policy.
